Frequently Asked Questions

We have certain questions which are asked frequently on TEK e-store shopping portal.


How is my order shipped?

There are two options available to receive orders:
a. Courier to shipping address prescribed by customer.
b. Self-collection at designated areas within the school. For details on collection location please refer to Delivery Policy under our Terms & Conditions.

How long does it take for my order to reach me?

Delivery time for each of the delivery options prescribed in 1. is listed below :

Courier

Purchases made would be delivered within 2 to 3 business days for Peninsular Malaysia and 5 to 6 business days for East Malaysia. Order cut off time would be 12 pm for each business day. Orders received before 12 pm would be delivered out on the same business day. Orders received after 12 pm would be delivered out on the next business day. Incorrect address and contact number will cause delays in delivery time. Next business day excludes Public Holidays and weekends.


Self-Collection

Please refer to our Delivery Policy under our Terms & Conditions which details our delivery time and location for each respective school.

Which countries do you ship to?

We can only send orders to street addresses in Malaysia. We do not deliver to a PO Box address. We are unable to ship to any International address.

What are your delivery charges?

Our delivery charges are illustrated below:


West Malaysia

Orders less than RM100.00 delivery charges are RM10.00.

Orders above RM100.00 deliver charges are FREE OF CHARGE.


East Malaysia

Courier cost would depend on weight of goods being shipped to East Malaysia.

How do I track my orders?
Courier

For deliveries via courier, we have engaged our courier partner as Aramex. After each delivery is shipped, a Consignment Note number will be sent to your email through which parcels can be tracked via the link below :

Self-Collection

For self-collection, an email will be sent notifying time and date of collection.

How do I know if an item is in stock?

The stock availability will be clearly displayed. Items for which stock is not available will be illustrated as “OUT OF STOCK” while items in stock will be illustrated as “ADD TO CART”. Purchases are not allowed for items which are out of stock.

Can I deliver to another address, other than my card billing address?

The shipping address can be different from the billing address. However, we do not cater to delivery to multiple address for each order. (i.e. one shipping address per order)

What is your cancellation policy?

Once an order is confirmed and payment is made, no cancellation is allowed.

I would like to change my order. What should I do?

If an order is confirmed and payment is made, an order cannot be changed. However, if payment has not been made, you can revert back to your Cart summary and edit the items within your cart by clicking the “Recycle Bin” icon to remove items not required.


If you would like to add items to your cart, you can revert to your Cart summary and select the icon “CONTINUE SHOPPING”.


Once you are satisfied with your order, you may checkout and continue to make payment to confirm the order.

How do I know that my order has been successfully submitted?

Once an order is successful, you will receive a notification from TEK BOOKMART SDN BHD informing you of your order. The email will also attach an order reference number and a Tax Invoice for your reference.

How can I pay for my order?

Once you have confirmed your order, you will proceed to the tab “PAYMENT” in which you will be redirected to a secured payment gateway site. Our chosen secured payment gateway site is IPAY88.


At the IPAY88 gateway, step by step instruction will be given to make payment.

Is it safe to use my credit card on your website?

Yes, it is safe to use your credit card on our website for the following reasons:

a. No credit card information is stored on our site.

b. IPAY88 site is secured which is based on PCI DATA SECURITY AND ISO 17799:2005. For further details on the site security please refer to: https://www.ipay88.com/my/security.asp

What is your return Policy?

If the goods you have ordered is damaged, faulty or not the goods you had originally ordered, exchanges are only valid within 48 hours from date goods are received. We only accept exchanges for goods of equal or higher value. Please allow us seven (7) working days from date of receipt of the complaint for us to process and resolve this complaint.


If goods purchased was incorrect due to an error made by the customer, TEK BOOKMART SDN BHD will not be held responsible to make an exchange for the error.

Do I need to register and set up an account to shop?

If you have a registered parent ID with the school, you do not need to set up an account to shop with us.


A link to our e-store will be placed in the school parent portal through which your ID will be authenticated. Once authentication is successful, you can begin your shopping experience.

What if there are missing goods when I receive my order?

If goods received are short and do not agree to the Tax Invoice, a complaint must be lodged within 48 hours from date of receipt. Please allow us seven (7) working days from date of receipt of the complaint for us to process and resolve this complaint.

Is there a minimum order value?

There is no minimum order value.

What are the recommended browsers for this site?

We would recommend google chrome to optimize your shopping experience.

Does the school share our personal information with TEK Bookmart Sdn Bhd ?

The school only shares the parents' first name, last name and primary email used during registration with the school for the purpose of authenticating the parents as a patron of the school. TEK Bookmart may request to update other personal information but this is at the discretion of the parent.

Is my personal information kept private?

Yes, please refer to our Privacy Policy for detailed explanation on the subject matter.
