1. General Information
  • Please read the following Online Shopping Policy carefully before making any online purchase through TEK Bookmart website or online platforms
  • By placing an order through our website, you agree to the terms and conditions set out in this Online Shopping Policy

2. Product Information & Pricing
  • All product details, descriptions, and prices displayed on the TEK Bookmart Online Store are accurate to the best of our knowledge at the time of publication
  • While we make every effort to ensure all information is current and correct, TEK Bookmart reserves the right to:
    • Correct any errors or inaccuracies
    • Update product information, availability, or pricing without prior notice
    • Cancel orders arising from technical or pricing errors
  • All prices displayed are in Ringgit Malaysia (RM) and exclude delivery charges unless otherwise stated
  • No minimum order value is required for online purchases

3. Customer Registration & Account Access
  • New customers are required to register an account before placing any order
  • Registration can be completed via:
    • Email signup, or
    • Google login at TEK Bookmart.com
  • Selecting your child’s school is mandatory during registration. This enables:
    • Access to customized booklists for the current academic term
    • Viewing of required school uniforms
  • Parents who already have a registered school ID may access the TEK Bookmart e-store directly via their school’s parent portal. No separate TEK Bookmart account is required. Kindly confirm with your respective school before registering a new account

4. Account Usage
(i) One account per child per school
  • One account may only be used for one child at a time. Parents with children in two different schools must create separate accounts, even if both schools are served by TEK Bookmart. However, if siblings attend the same school, they may share the same account
(ii) Siblings enrolled at the same school
  • Children who are siblings and enrolled at the same school may share a single customer account
(iii) Transfer to a new school
  • In the event a child transfers to another school serviced by TEK Bookmart, the existing account may continue to be used for that child, subject always to the restrictions in Clause 4(i) above. You will only need change the school’s name under child information at your TEK Bookmart account

5. System & Browser Compatibility
  • For the best shopping experience, TEK Bookmart recommends using Google Chrome, as it ensures optimal compatibility, secure payments, and smooth navigation
  • Other supported browsers include:
    • Firefox
    • Safari
    • Microsoft Edge

6. Eligibility to Purchase
  • You may only purchase products:
    • That are available for sale on TEK Bookmart Online Store
    • For delivery within Malaysia (Peninsular & East Malaysia)

7. Product Availability & Stock Status
  • Product availability is clearly indicated on each product page:
    • “ADD TO CART” – Item is available for immediate purchase
    • “OUT OF STOCK” – Item is unavailable
      • Out-of-stock items may be added to your Wishlist by clicking the heart icon
      • Customers will receive an email notification once the item is restocked
      • Advance purchases for out-of-stock items are not permitted
  • For any out-of-stock items, customers are encouraged to contact our Customer Service team for further information, including restock updates and available alternative products.

8. Ordering Process
(i) Select your desired products and proceed to checkout
(ii) Click the “Checkout” button to place your order
(iii) Upon checkout, you are making a binding offer to purchase the goods
(iv) Payment can be made via:
  • Debit/Credit Card (Visa, Mastercard)
  • Online Banking / FPX transfer
  • E-wallet through iPay88 (i.e: GrabPay, Touch 'n Go, DuitNow QR, ShopeePay, Boost)
(v) Once your order is successfully placed, you will receive an Order Confirmation email from TEK Bookmart containing:
  • Your order details
  • Order reference number
  • Attached Tax Invoice

9. Damaged, Incorrect, or Wrongly Purchased Items
(i) Eligibility
  • In the event that the customer receives goods that are damaged, faulty or not in accordance with the order placed, the customer may submit a request for exchange within thirty (30) days from the date of receipt
(ii) Exchange Procedure
  • All exchange requests must be submitted via TEK Bookmart designated online exchange module. The Customer shall:
    • Select the option “Damaged or Wrong Item Received”; and
    • Provide complete and accurate information, including mandatory photographic evidence
  • TEK Bookmart reserves the right to reject incomplete or unsupported requests
  • Processing shall take a minimum of two (2) working days, excluding public holidays
(iii) Exchange Handling
  • Upon approval, TEK Bookmart shall:
    • Arrange free collection or reimburse courier fees (where applicable); and
    • Deliver replacement items at no additional cost, subject to a maximum of two (2) delivery attempts
    • Subsequent delivery attempts shall be chargeable
(iv) Incorrect Item Purchased
  • Where the exchange request arises due to an incorrect purchase by the customer (including incorrect product selection, size or type), such requests:
    • Shall be subject to TEK Bookmart sole discretion; and
    • Shall not constitute an obligation on the part of TEK Bookmart
    • The item must be unused and in its original condition, if the return has been agreed to and approved by TEK Bookmart

10. Missing Items (Short Delivery)
  • The customer shall notify TEK Bookmart of any missing items within forty-eight (48) hours from the date of receipt
  • TEK Bookmart shall investigate and resolve the matter within seven (7) working days from the date of notification

11. Returns & Exchange Submission
All returns and exchanges must be submitted online via the TEK Bookmart website

12. Refund Policy
Refunds are subject to TEK Bookmart approval and can be issued via:
(i) Store Credit
  • Credited within 5 working days
  • Automatically applied at checkout for future purchases
  • Valid for 1 year from issuance
(ii) Bank Transfer
  • Processed within up to 21 working days
  • Customers must provide:
    • Bank Name:
    • Account Holder:
    • Account Number:
Important Note: If your original payment was made by credit card, refunds will be issued via bank transfer instead of being returned to your card. customer should provide their bank account details as required under Clause 12(ii).


13. Store Credit Management
  • Customers can check their credits via:
    • Login > My Account > My Profile > My Credits
  • Credits can only be used for new orders/purchases and will automatically apply during checkout
  • Credits cannot offset any additional fee OR exchange processing/exchange shipping fee, if applicable

14. Order Cancellation
  • Once an order has been confirmed and payment has been successfully processed, the order shall be deemed final and no cancellations, modifications or amendments shall be permitted.
  • Prior to completing payment, the Customer may review and amend their order by adding or removing items from the shopping cart using the “Recycle Bin” icon available on the cart summary page
  • TEK Bookmart reserves the right to cancel orders in situations including but not limited to:
    • Product unavailability
    • Pricing or listing errors
    • Payment authorization failure
    • Suspected fraudulent transactions
  • Customers will be notified and refunded if payment has already been processed
  • For further assistance, customers may contact TEK Bookmart customer service team.

15. Data Privacy & Customer Information
  • Schools only share the parent’s primary email address for authentication purposes
  • Any additional personal information requested by TEK Bookmart is optional and at the parent’s discretion
  • TEK Bookmart is committed to protecting customer privacy

16. General Terms
